Guidance information ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ was published on the 3rd April 2014, and replaces the previous guidance ‘Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education 2007’.

The documents below contain information on what schools and colleges should do, and sets out the legal duties with which schools and colleges must comply.  It should be read alongside ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children 2013, which applies to all schools, including maintained nursery schools.
