An OFSTED rate ‘Good’ School based in the London Borough of Greenwich is looking for a personable candidate to join their School, on a long term basis, as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant. The School is a short walk from Local train stations and also offers onsite parking for a someone looking to drive to work. This This forward thinking School has a strong focus on the local community and both Children and Staff do their bit to give back. Being a 3 form entry, this School is able to offer constant support and encouragement, all Teaching Assistants are encouraged to work together and give support and training when required.
The successful 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant will need to either have a recent degree and a keen interest in working closely with SEN students, along with a minimum of 3 months’ experience working closely to School children. Alternatively, the successful candidate will have over 6 months’ experience working with SEN children, in a School environment or a similar situation. This role will be a full time role, on an ongoing contract until the end of July minimum. Should the successful candidate prove themselves while in the role, there is an opportunity for a permanent contract and on the job teacher training, to start in September 2021.

This School is holding trial days next week and looking for someone to start after the Easter half term so the successful candidate will need to be available to start immediately after trialling.
