Year 1 Teacher/NQT role:
For this role, the Year 1 Teacher must be confident in their delivery and knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and be enthusiastic in their lessons. There is the opportunity for the teacher to lead a subject at this school, therefore previous experience in a similar role is highly welcomed. There is a fantastic NQT programme. The teacher appointed will be provided with plentiful training for CPD.
Expectations of the Year 1 Teacher:
This Primary school in Camden is searching for a talented and passionate Year 1 Teacher who can support their forward-thinking teaching style across the school. The school is commended for achieving academic excellence and the teacher appointed will use their expertise to reach and hopefully exceed the exam results previously achieved. The Year 1 Teacher will be expected to ensure that all children are engaged and enthusiastic about their learning. You will be expected to inspire the children alongside managing their behaviour in and out of the classroom.
Responsibilities of the Year 1 Teacher:
As a Year 1 Teacher you will be teaching a vibrant, energetic group of children amounting to a 29 class total. Your responsibilities in this Primary teacher role will include keeping your lessons current and relevant, preparing the students for their important final year in Primary school. The teacher will be required to commit to the school and their class with effective planning and preparation for lessons and activities. The NQT will be offered full support to ensure they fulfil their potential as a teacher.
