A primary school in Greenwich are looking for a graduate to join their school on a long-term and full-time basis starting in April 2019. As a recent graduate, you will be working with students form Early Years to Key Stage 2. Children’s ages range between 5 and 11 and based into an infant and junior side of the school, so the ideal candidate may rotate between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes through the terms.
Work in the school will include helping children on a one to one basis or working with students in small groups. This presents a great opportunity for a graduate if they are looking to become a Primary School Teacher in the near future.
The ideal candidate...
Is a recent 2016, 2017 or 2018 graduate who is engaging, communicative and is able to build rapport with students within a classroom environment. Behaviour management is also vital within this role, so the candidate must be patience and will need the ability to follow school behaviour guidelines and procedures within the classroom.
The role requires the graduate teaching assistant to work with students in small groups or on a one to one basis. A candidate who has previous experience working or volunteering with children is desirable but not essential.
