A dedicated and ambitious Secondary School in Brent seeks to maintain a high standard of education for their students aged between 11 and 18 years. The school will be welcoming an eager new year 7 in September and will be looking to increase their number of students applying to the sixth form college after they leave school. The staffing team plan to maintain their authenticity and their high reputation of the school which includes their flourishing Science Department within the School.
The knowledgeable and experienced Teacher of Chemistry/ Chemistry Teacher will help settle the new Year 7 students into Secondary Science. In addition, as required the skilled and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher/ Teacher of Chemistry will be teaching children between the age of 11 and 18. Furthermore, as an inspirational role model, the ideal Teacher of Chemistry/ Chemistry Teacher will have the option to teach KS5, alongside KS3 and KS4 Chemistry Lessons.
Requirements for the role... The ideal Teacher of Chemistry/ Chemistry Teacher must:
* Hold a UK recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, SCITT or GTP with QTS)
* Be able to teach KS3 to KS4 students (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Hold a ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ teaching observation record
* Be able to work on a permanent and full-time basis.
