Are you looking for a LSA job that will challenge you?

Do you have previous experience working with ASD or Cerebral Palsy?

My client school based in Brent is looking an SEN Teaching Assistant to start a full time LSA job in the coming weeks. The job will run for the full academic year.

The Headteacher is looking to bring in an LSA to work with the SEN children in Year 5. The main responsibility will be to work with two boys, one has ASD and the other Cerebral Palsy. You will work alongside other TA’s and LSA’s but will be given a timetable that fits in with the needs of the children.

To be considered you’ll need to have excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to deal with challenging behaviour. Previous SEN experience is important but not essential. If you have previous ASD or Cerebral Palsy experience and have a passion for working with children, the Headteacher will be keen to meet you.

The school is a growing primary school with an excellent recent Ofsted and a strong leadership team. The SENCO is very experienced and works very closely with the LSA’s in the school. The school can also potentially offer teacher training in the future for candidates who have the ambition of becoming a teacher in the future.

The successful candidate will have:
