About the Role
Servoca education resourcing is working with a fantastic Primary School in Camden are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to join their Nursery Team in September. The school are looking for caring, committed and nurturing staff to join their team and support children on a 1:1 basis. The primary school have a number of children joining who are due to receive Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCP). A number of children will be joining the school who have been diagnosed with Autism, Speech and Language Communication Needs and Down Syndrome. The successful applicants will have previous experience supporting pupils who have been diagnosed with Special Educational Needs and a proven track record of raising attainment. During lessons, you will be required to monitor the child's progression, observe their learning and participation in lessons and report back to parents and the schools Inclusion Manager.
The role will initially be a temporary position, however the Nursery are happy to offer permanent contracts for the right member of staff.
About the school
The Nursery is set at the back of the Primary School with spacious and creative indoor and outdoor learning spaces for all pupils. They have excellent resources which provide pupils with fun yet stimulating learning environments including sensory rooms. The children in Nursery are very well behaved and enjoy attending school. The children are also respectful of one another and enjoy learning about all faiths and backgrounds. The successful applicant will be part of a fantastic team of practitioners who work very with one another. All current staff have excellent experience supporting pupils who have been diagnosed with Special Educational Needs and will be on hand to help and support any staff who may require it. You will be working in a supportive environment and be part of a happy and experience team of educators. A huge amount of support is provided to all staff by the Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements for the Role:
The school are looking for candidates who have at least 1 year of experience working in an educational setting. Previous experience supporting pupils who have been diagnosed with Special Educational Needs is essential for this role. You must be a hardworking and flexible educator who shares the schools passion for education and supporting pupils.
You must have recent and a minimum of six months experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application.
