A Fantastic Primary School based in Greenwich, is currently looking for a Reception Teacher to join their team. This two-form entry school is close to a train station and easily accessible by public transport. This Primary school has been rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED.

This Primary school is happy to accept either an experienced Reception Teacher or a Newly Qualified Teacher. The ideal candidate will be familiar with and previously taught the UK curriculum. For an experienced Year 2 Teacher, this primary school has the opportunity for extra responsibility including the chance to lead a subject (TLR). For a Newly Qualified Teacher this Primary School can offer a welcoming and supportive environment for an induction year.

This is a permanent role and starting in September 2020.

The ideal candidate will have specialist subject interests and will be looking to develop further as a teacher. This Primary School promote the freedom for teachers to be creative and have freedom when planning lessons and also to share ideas with other Reception teachers, for inspiration and to reduce work-load.

The Reception Teacher will be passionate about pupils’ development and enthusiastic to take on a new challenge. They will also need to be focused on what is most important; student learning and progress. The successful candidate will also need a Bachelors Degree (or equivalent), knowledge of the UK curriculum and successful track record of improving pupils performance.
