An outstanding Secondary school in Richmond/Twickenham are searching for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team as a Trainee Teacher in September 2020. This is a two-year contract working 8.30am-4pm full-time.
The Secondary School is within a 5-minute walk of Whitton train station and is easily accessible from all over London. They have been graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in the last 18 months and has an extremely supportive and established leadership team.
The successful trainee teacher will be:
* A Graduate – degree graded 2:2 or above
* Able to work full-time
* Able to commit for the two-year duration of the contract
* An aspiring teacher
* Achieved a minimum of a C in GCSE Maths, English and Science
The successful teaching assistant will be educated to a degree level graded 2:2 or above and have a minimum of a C in Maths, English and Science GCSE. The Secondary school are looking for the trainee teacher to bring enthusiasm, passion and dedication to the classroom. Extensive previous experience working with children is not essential but a minimum of 3 months would be desirable. Graduates with no experience will also be considered for this exciting opportunity as the two-year course will provide you ample opportunity to develop your experience, curriculum knowledge and confidence before gaining your QTS.
