SEN Teaching Assistant – ASD – Primary School in Brent

A large primary school in Brent are looking for an ASD TA to join the school on long term contract in the coming days. The school has a vacancy in Year working with an autistic boy who has moderate needs, therefore the school are looking for a 1:1 TA to work closely with him asap.

Are you a recent graduate, with a passion and interest in Psychology and Special Needs?

Can you commit to working a full academic year on a full time basis as a 1:1 TA with an ASD child?

Do you have good behaviour management skills?

A large mainstream primary school with an excellent reputation in Neasden, Brent are searching for an SEN Teaching Assistant to start in the coming days as a 1:1 SEN TA working with a boy with ASD. The ideal candidate will be a Teaching Assistant with knowledge of SEN, a passion for working with children and a strong academic background.

If you’re looking for a long term LSA/ SEN TA role and ideally want to work with ASD children, then this job and school could be the perfect match. The school offer great support in general, plus a friendly professional atmosphere and an excellent platform to gain excellent experience in a classroom setting.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will mostly be supporting pupils with ASD (Autism) in and out of the classroom. You will be working with children in group settings as well as 1:1. You will be responsible for ensure the child/ children are on task, learning and behaving.

To be considered for these SEN TA jobs you’ll need the following:

* Experience of working with children
* A 2:1 degree or above
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Knowledge of ASD
