Is your subject knowledge in physics, chemistry or biology very strong?
Do you have strong subject knowledge in science and are you confident to teach up to KS3, 4 and 5?
An Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School in Ealing, West London are looking to appoint strong Science graduates for a trainee teacher position. The successful graduate will be appointed as a teaching assistant in the Science department supporting students from KS3 up to KS5 in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics. The secondary school would like the teaching assistant to begin in September and it will be a full-time position. The opportunity to train to become fully qualified Science Teachers is available for very strong graduates from January 2020. Ideally, the school would like to employ a Science Graduate as an unqualified Science teacher for the rest of this academic year.

As a science trainee teacher you will support the classroom teacher with all relevant classroom duties. You will provide students with one to one support and small group intervention in the build up to the examination period. You must have a very positive and confident approach and strong subject knowledge. You will have the personality to inspire students and encourage them to achieve their highest academic potential.
