A fantastic opportunity for an aspiring teacher has arisen at a wonderful primary school based in the heart of London in Westminster. The opportunity is to build your classroom experience as a teaching assistant for one year before successfully completing your primary school teacher training in September 2020. The start date for this position will be September 2019 and will require someone who can commit for a minimum of one year. The primary school is near to Victoria station. The teaching assistant will be working with a high functioning Autistic child with minimal behavioural challenges as well as assisting with the Year 3 class. This is a great opportunity to develop your experience with SEN before completing your teacher training.

The primary school are looking for a teaching assistant that is graduated to a degree level, either undergraduate or masters level ideally. Additionally the primary school are looking for someone with some experience working with children previously – this may include previous work as a teaching assistant, tutoring, youth work or special needs experience.
This is a full-time position with the exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant to develop into a fully qualified QTS primary teacher. The successful candidate will have a strong educational background and a true passion to work with young children. The primary school are looking for teaching assistants and graduates who can inspire and instil a love of learning into their pupils.
