This is an ‘outstanding’ school with a fantastic reputation for it’s academic excellence tied with an established senior leadership team. The school has consistently achieved between 20 and 30% above national average on all age groups. The school have a firm belief that children will fulfil their potential and offer a holistic learning approach. They are searching for a Year 4, 5 or 6 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 department. Additionally, they are looking for someone who can lead English across the school. The Key Stage 2 Teacher will be appointed on a permanent contract.
The Primary school is based in the heart of London in an affluent area and falls into the inner-London pay scale. The school also fully supports overseas trained teachers who have a teaching qualification recognised in the UK. Experience leading a previous subject would be fantastic to be considered for the English Lead role.
This opportunity is suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT’s) and those with more experience (QTS). Ideally, the Key Stage 2 Teacher will be familiar with and have previously taught the UK curriculum. This Primary school have been commended by OFSTED for their established senior leadership team. This is a two form entry school so the teacher appointed will be working alongside the other Key Stage 2 Teachers. Planning for lessons will be shared between the teachers to combine ideas and reduce work-load. The Head Teacher allows all teachers to have creative freedom with their lessons.
The Key Stage 2 Teacher will be carefully selected and should hold specialist subject interests, intellect and ambition to develop as a teacher.
