An Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Brent has a full time Year 5 class teaching opening to start in September. The Headteacher is looking to appoint a bright, enthusiastic NQT to join on a full time basis. The school have the support and resources in place to employ an NQT and pride themselves on supporting and training staff.
The school is a training school and works closely with another ‘Outstanding’ primary school in the borough to ensure teachers train and plan together. The ethos of the school is caring and the positivity is clear for all to see when entering the school. The leadership team are mainly made up from staff who have progressed through the ranks and a handful even started as NQTs after their teacher training.
The facilities are another eye capturing feature of the school. From an outdoor classroom to a chicken farm, the school actively encourage outdoor learning and regularly arrange field trips and activities to keep the children stimulated.
To be considered for this permanent Key Stage 2 position you’ll need to have prior Key Stage 2 experience as a student teacher or TA, a sound understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and clear passion and enthusiasm to work with children and nurture them and stimulate their learning to get the best results for your class.
