Early Years Special Needs Teaching Assistant- 1:1 Support- Heston- ASAP Start!

A lovely and community driven school in Heston are looking for a special needs teaching assistant to work on a one to one supporting an early years child. The school focuses on integrating students from all cultural backgrounds and celebrates diversity within the school.

** Do you have experience planning and delivering suitable learning activities? **

The school is based in a Heston and is situated in a close community environment who seeks to work effectively with other schools and community trusts in the area.

As an early year through to junior primary school, the establishment are looking for an individual who has great initiative, who is able to remain calm and patient with challenging situations and who can communicate with students effectively.

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will have the required skills to manage behaviour respectively and effectively, will be driven and will be passionate about aiding student’s learning within a classroom environment.

Essential requirements for the role are:

1 Knowledge, skills and previous experience working with pupils with special education needs (SEN) and previous experience working with education, health and care (EHC) plans.

1 Good behaviour management skills and strategies put in place to follow the school’s behaviour policies.

1 The ability to deliver suitable learning activities and to help aid the child’s learning within a classroom setting.

1 Knowledge of working with pupils with speech, language or communication difficulties.
