Graduate Teaching Assistant – Maths, English or Science

£65-£80 per day – ASAP Start

An outstanding secondary school in Kensington are recruiting for University Graduates with a degree in either Science, Maths or English to become teaching assistants this term.

The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant with have either a degree in Science, Maths or English. Additionally you can able to build a strong rapport with secondary school students. In addition you would be able to support students in either small intervention groups or on a 1:1 basis (KS3 to A Levels). You will be expected to help with additional classes, create a great learning experience and to assist students who need additional help. You will be confident as there will be opportunities where you will be expected to lead small revision classes at GCSE and A Levels.

As this is a Graduate Teaching Assistant role you will have guidance from your teachers and the Head of Department. You will be keen to make a difference and passionate about education. For students who want to pursue a career in teaching, where the opportunity arises at these schools it’s a great alternative to a PGCE course and will save you from paying a fee if you take this route.
