The Southwark secondary school is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant. Presently they are looking for a KS3 to KS5 SEN TA / Teaching Assistant and can potentially work in your specialised subject to your degree. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be employed full time on a long term supply basis. Opportunities for permanent work is potentially available for the right candidate. This role will be working with ASD students who have difficulties within the classroom and help to encourage and build a strong rapport with pupils in the curriculum. Additionally you will be working & supporting the class teacher with the daily running of the classroom. Would be beneficial if the successful SEN Teaching Assistant has experience working with children that have Autism & ADHD and has experience in dealing with demanding behaviour in the classroom.

* Must reside in either Southwark or South East London location
* Mainstream Secondary School OR SEN School experience
