Larger than average Bromley Secondary School is recruiting for a permanent September 2019 Design Technology Teacher (MPS or UPS).

This is a full time & permanent DT Teacher position from September 2019. The school is looking for either an NQT or an experienced DT Teacher / Teacher of Design Technology – open to DT specialism (MPS or UPS). They teach all the Design technology specialism’s; Resistant Materials Teacher/ Product Design Teacher/ Graphics Teacher / Food etc. This permanent MPS / UPS + TLR post is suitable for a secondary trained (PGCE/ QTS/ SCITT/ Teach First / GTP) mainstream practitioner KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable). The successful Design Technology Teacher/ DT Teacher /Resistant Materials Teacher / Product Design Teacher / Graphics Teacher / Teacher of Design Technology who will essentially be able to demonstrate a “Good” to “Outstanding” lesson. It is imperative that your teaching expertise in the classroom is in a secondary mainstream school with experience and knowledge with the UK curriculum. Essentially you a positive, confident (MPS or UPS) NQT or Experienced practitioner. The successful Resistant Materials Teacher / Graphics Teacher / DT Teacher/ Teacher of Design Technology / Design Technology Teacher must be able to plan, teach and deliver and enthusing & engaging lessons.

* Secondary Teaching Certificate (PGCE/ ITT / GTP/ SCITT/ Teach First / QTS)
* Experienced Design Technology Teacher (DT) /Resistant Materials / Product Design / Graphics Teacher
* You can teach KS3 & KS4 (minimum)
* Sound Subject Knowledge in the DT specialism’s
* Secondary School DT Teacher secondary mainstream teaching experience
* 'Good' to 'Outstanding' Design Technology Teacher lesson
