Due to expansion within the department a new has arisen for a MPS or UPS Teacher of Religious Studies / Religious Studies Teacher for a permanent appointment for September 2019. Full time post that would be suitable to either an NQT or Experienced member of staff. The successful Teacher of Religious Studies will have a UK recognised secondary mainstream teaching certificate (PGCE/GTP/SCITT/Teach First/QTS). It is imperative that you are a Teacher of Religious Studies who can teach a minimum of KS3 & KS4. KS5 would be desirable but not essential. You will be able to demonstrate a minimum of a “Good” lesson. As an inspiring and ambitious teacher, you will be able to build a strong rapport with your students as a MPS or UPS Religious Studies Teacher It is imperative that you have an excellent understanding of the UK curriculum and someone who can engage, enthuse and inspire their students to excellence. * Must have a Secondary Teaching certificate (GTP/ PGCE/ Teach First/ SCITT/ Schools Direct/ QTS)
* Able to teach a minimum of KS3 and KS4 RS
* Secondary mainstream teaching experience as an NQT or Experienced Teacher of Religious Studies (MPS or UPS)
* Able to demonstrate a minimum of a “Good” Lesson as a Teacher of Religious Studies
