In September 2019, the school is recruiting for a well qualified NQT or Experienced Science Teacher / Teacher of Science (MPS or UPS) for a full time permanent appointment. Because of the direction this school is going, it is imperative that the newly appointed Science Teacher / Teacher of Science is a Good to Outstanding Science teacher. This school is focused on their students getting an excellent education & that they are pushed, so important that any new teacher is focused on teaching and learning and assessment for learning. The successful Science Teacher / Teacher of must have a strong STEM background. Very open to considering either an NQT or Experienced Science Teacher / Teacher of Science (MPS or UPS) as their main focus is getting the ‘right teacher’ to compliment the already strong science department. You are focused and able to teach engaging and creative lessons.
What they are looking for...
* Qualified Science Teacher with a Secondary Teaching Certificate (QTS, PGCE, SCITT, Teach First etc)
* Science Teaching Experience must be in a mainstream Secondary School
* KS3 to KS4 ( A Level teaching would be desirable)
* ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ practitioner
* Strong STEM background & Sound knowledge of your subject
* Able to demonstrate clear, concise and engaging lessons
* NQT or Experienced (MPS or UPS)
