Secondary Croydon mainstream school is currently recruiting either a Graduate or experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. They would like to recruit for someone to start either immediately or January in this full time post. They are recruiting for a KS3 to GCSE LSA / Teaching Assistant /Graduate Teaching Assistant who can potentially work in your specialised subject to your degree. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be employed full time on a long term supply basis. Opportunities for permanent work is potentially available for the right candidate and initially this will be a long term post. This role will be working with ASD students who have difficulties within the classroom and help to encourage and build a strong rapport with pupils in the curriculum. Additionally you will be working & supporting the class teacher with the daily running of the classroom. Would be beneficial if the successful SEN Teaching Assistant has experience working with children that have Autism & ADHD and has experience in dealing with demanding behaviour in the classroom as a SEN Teaching Assistant / Teaching Assistant.
