The successful part time Engineering Teacher / Teacher of Engineering / Design Technology Teacher / Teacher of Design Technology must be able to offer either Electronic or Mechanical Engineering within their teaching to be considered for this post.

The successful Engineering Teacher / Teacher of Engineering / Design Technology Teacher / Teacher of Design Technology must have a UK recognised teaching qualification to teaching in either a secondary school or college. The students are dedicated with many wanting to pursue careers in engineering. To be considered for this successful Engineering Teacher / Teacher of Engineering / Design Technology Teacher / Teacher of Design Technology you must have experience teaching at GCSE (minimum), BTEC (Level 2 and 3) and or A Levels in this part time long term post for January 2019. This is a successful and experienced department with an exemplary Head of Engineering. Your delivery will be consistent and you will have high expectations to inspire and motivate your students.
* Must hold either a Secondary or Post 16 Mainstream Teaching Certificate (PGCE/ QTS/ QTLS/ SCITT/GTP/ Teach First/ Etc)
* Experience teaching either Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
* Experience teaching either BTEC (Level 2 or 3) and/ or A Levels
* ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ Electronics or Mechanical Engineering teaching experience
* Experience teaching in a mainstream secondary school or college
