A ‘Good’ Ofsted rated College in Bromley is looking for an A-Level Fine Art Teacher to join their school on a long term contract either on a full-time or part time basis. The college is flexible to contract hours based on the right candidate for the role.

The college are looking for an experienced GCSE and A-Level Fine Art & Design Teacher to join their school on a long-term basis to work either part-time or full-time hours between Mondays to Fridays. The college has a high success rate of students entering higher education establishments after leaving the College. Therefore, the ideal Fine Art Teacher/ Art Teacher will joining a dedicated staffing team whose main priority is to ensure that all students at the college are receiving the highest level of education at the establishment in Bromley. The Art Department at the school are renowned for their student’s artwork grades and would like to maintain their standard to ensure that all their students’ reach their highest potential grades and succeed in their examinations at the college.

Details of the role

The Fine Art Teacher/ Art Teacher will be teaching drawing techniques and UK curriculum art lessons to mainly KS5 and possibly KS4 students. Contracted hours at the College are set through the establishment themselves due to flexibility of the role. There is an option for the ideal Fine Art Teacher/ Art Teacher to work on a permanent part-time or full-time basis in the near future. In addition, the Fine Art Teacher/ Art Teacher will be prepping students for summer examinations by helping to promote creativity for art projects. This includes teaching drawing, sketching, shading, colouring, painting techniques to students using different mediums.

Requirements for the role- The ideal candidate must:

* Have experience working with KS5 students
* Hold a UK recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, PGDE, GTP, SCITT etc)
* Be able to start work in January 2019
* Have a ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ Teaching Record
