Larger than average progressive & forward thinking school in Bexley. This school has a strong 6th form and striving for excellence. Over the years this school has gone through some significant changes and is successfully going in the right direction. The school is very innovative, with some outstanding concepts, where they clearly think outside the box. The support staff and teachers are a testament to the great direction in which the school is going in. Supportive Senior Leadership Team and Middle Managers. Staff and students have positive relationships. They also have an excellent intervention program, when transitioning from Primary into Secondary phase. This is for students who are struggling between the two, they have teachers who teach the core subjects to help the weaker students. This helps when moving into year 7. Great time to start at this school and some where you can make your stamp in the department.

The Job...

Full time & permanent well qualified Science Teacher / Teacher of Science for a permanent MPS or UPS appointment. The school is striving for academic excellence so it is imperative that any new teacher is a Good to Outstanding teachers with a strong STEM background. This role would suit either an NQT or Experienced Science Teacher / Teacher of Science MPS or UPS). As a well qualified Science Teacher / Teacher of Science with a UK recognised teaching qualification, this Bexley School is looking for someone who can lead with clear example, able to build an excellent rapport with their students and able to deliver fun and enthusiastic lessons! The successful Science Teacher / Teacher of Science will be able to teach a minimum of KS3 & KS4 mainstream school experience. If you have KS5 science this would be beneficial but not imperative.
