Larger than average and thriving Secondary School situated on the Wandsworth Borders. They are recruiting for a full time Drama Teacher who is also a Music Teacher (MPS or UPS). This is September 2018 One Year contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative school that is essentially striving for excellence looking for an innovative and adaptable Drama Teacher & Music Teacher. This is a full time one year contract position for a either an NQT or experienced Drama teacher /Music Teacher (MPS or UPS ). It is imperative that you have a secondary trained qualification and can teach both subjects in a mainstream school. It is imperative that you can teach Drama at a minimum of KS3 & 4 (KS5 desirable) and would be beneficial if you can teach Music also to similar levels. You are a Good to Outstanding experienced Drama teacher / Music Teacher who is confident, enthusiastic, passionate and an inspirational practitioner. The students react well to a teacher who is effective in AFL and Teaching and learning. You are able to build a strong rapport with your students and able to teach fun and engaging lessons. The successful Music Teacher / Drama Teacher will be able to lead with clear direction & passionate about their subject.

* Must have a Secondary Teaching Certificate (QTS/ SCITT/ GTP/ Teach First, etc)
* Secondary mainstream School experience
* Must be a 'good' to 'outstanding' Drama Teacher / Music Teacher
* Inspiring & enthusiastic experienced Drama Teacher /Music Teacher who can build a strong rapport with students. In addition able to teach fun and engaging lessons
* Can teach a minimum of KS3 & KS4 in subjects as a Music Teacher / Drama Teacher
* Sound subject knowledge as a Music Teacher and Drama Teacher
