Popular and larger than average secondary school in the borough of Southwark is recruiting for an experienced Drama Teacher who will also hold a TLR post covering Dance in the Expressive Arts department. This appointment holds a TLR and commences in September 2018.

Good to Outstanding teaching throughout the school and passionate staff who want to ensure their students get an excellent education. They ensure that even the less able students who struggle are put on the right track so that they too can succeed alongside their counterparts. New full time permanent experienced Drama Teacher/Teacher of Drama who will lead and manage a dance. This full time appointment is Drama Teacher / Teacher of Drama who will be on the carousel and be managing dance. Essentially you would be the only Dance Teacher / Teacher of Dance at this school. This would be either a MPS to UPS post that will hold a TLR (covering Dance). This post requires an experienced Drama Teacher / Teacher of Drama who has some experience managing a team as will be managing a small team within the Expressive Arts department. You will be able to enthuse, inspire and successfully able to get your students on talk. You must be a Good to Outstanding Teacher who can teach a minimum of KS3 and KS4. Sixth form would be beneficial but not essential for this Drama Teacher /Teacher of Drama appointment.

* Secondary trained Drama Teacher (QTS)
* Secondary mainstream teaching experience
* Must be able to teach Drama at KS3 & KS4 as a minimum
* Able to cover a small dance team so must have some managerial experience
* Excellent Leadership and Managerial and Drama Teacher capabilities
* Good to Outstanding Drama Teacher / Teacher of Drama
* Able to enthuse, engage and inspire your pupils
* MPS or UPS Drama Teacher
