Innovative & Creative Secondary School in Southwark is recruiting for a Computer Science Teacher (MPS or UPS). Full time & permanent post to commence in September 2018

Popular community secondary school that is very much forward-thinking within the borough of Southwark. In September 2018, this school is currently recruiting for a permanent Teacher of Computer Science / Computing Teacher/ Computer Science Teacher / Teacher of Computing (MPS or UPS). It is imperative that the successful NQT or an Experienced Computer Science Teacher / Teacher of Computer Science has a UK recognised mainstream teaching certificate (PGCE /QTS /SCITT / Teach First / GTP / Cert Ed) to be considered for this role. This exciting post would be teaching a minimum of KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable). You will be a Good to Outstanding teacher and a strong classroom practitioner. In addition it is essential that you have sound knowledge of your subject and able to plan & deliver an inspiring lesson where you can enthuse your students. The successful Computing Teacher/ Computer Science Teacher / Teacher of Computing (MPS or UPS) will be able to lead by clear example and able to build a strong rapport with mainstream students.

* Secondary Mainstream Teaching Certificate (PGCE /SCITT/ GTP/ QTS/ CertEd / Teach First)
* KS3 & KS4 Teaching Experience in a mainstream school
* NQT or Experienced Computer Science Teacher / Teacher of Computer Science (MPS or UPOS)
* Sound and Excellent Subject knowledge of your subject
* Inspiring and dedicated Computer Science Teacher / Computing Teacher / Teacher of Computing
* Able to demonstrate a good to outstanding lesson as a Computing Teacher / Teacher of Computing
