Mixed Inner London Lewisham Secondary is recruiting for a permanent Physics Teacher / Teacher of Physics. This role will start in September 2018.

This school has an impressive modernised building and stage of the art facilities. Experienced SLT, middle managers and staff who are accommodating and welcoming. There have been some changes within the school and essentially they are striving for excellence. All new staff must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 'good' teaching. Students respond well to good to outstanding teaching. In addition teachers who are focused on T&L and AFL and able to build a strong rapport with their students and make learning inspiring and fun. The governing body and Head have great ambition for this school and have successfully encouraged improvements to accelerate the students learning. In addition to KS3 and KS4 they have a successful sixth form.

In September 2018, this school is recruiting for either an NQT or Experienced MPS or UPS Physics Teacher / Teacher of Physics. The successful teacher must have a UK recognised secondary teaching certificate. You will be an excellent teacher and practitioner who is looking for a school where you can make a stamp in the department. Due to the growth of their student roll, they require a permanent MPS or UPS NQT or Experienced Physics Teacher / Teacher of Physics. They are requiring someone who can teach KS3 & KS4 (A Levels would be advantageous). The successful MPS / UPS Physics Teacher / Teacher of Physics to join their successful Department. In addition, the successful Physics Teacher must be able to demonstrate a ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’ lesson, able to inspire and teach fun and engaging lessons. You will have excellent knowledge and experience of the UK curriculum with a strong STEM background.

* UK recognised Secondary Teaching Certificate (PGCE/QTS/SCITT/Teach First/ GTP)
* Minimum of KS3 & KS4 Physics (KS5 advantageous)
* Able to teach a Good to Outstanding Lesson
* Either an ; Experienced Physics Teacher / Teacher of Physics / Subject Leader in Physics / Physics Coordinator /2IC Science
* Must have Secondary Mainstream Teaching Physics Teacher Experience
* Able to teach inspiring, fun and well thought out Physics Teacher Lessons
