Are you a primary SEN specialist and experienced in working with young people within ASD pupils in a mainstream setting? If you’re an ASD specialist, and have particular strengths within SEN, this is an excellent opportunity with an outstanding school.
Specific experience with SEN children is important here, we’re looking to make a commitment to the school for the long haul from the start of the Summer Term. Of course, you will display abilities in relationship building and abilities in developing long lasting and meaningful connections with Key Stage 2 children, with a view to maintaining access to the National Curriculum.
** State setting
** One to One ASD Support
** Continuous and relevant CPD
You will have responsibility for the one to one support for a KS2 child, for the remainder of the academic year. It is vital that you hold prior experience within an SEN based brief. You will be totally empathetic; not only during the day to day challenges that the task will bring, but also in relation to the bigger picture; able to be fully empathetic towards the feelings of the child and how and why particular behaviours display.
If you’re excited at the prospect of a specialist SEN support role, within a local setting, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
If you would like to know more about the role or submit an application, please apply with your CV and covering letter immediately.
