A warm and welcoming primary school in the London Borough of Haringey is looking for a KS2 class teacher who can also take on the post as ICT lead.
This primary school takes pride in the quality of their professional development and has excellent systems in place to support the growth of their staff, including the middle and senior leaders. The maths/computing leader would be class-based and would receive regular non-contact time to disseminate good practice across the school. The curriculum is on a 2-year cycle so that teachers across neighbouring year groups (e.g. Y3 & 4) can plan together in partnership; this helps to foster very effective team-working.
The school are looking for someone with:
Excellent communication skills and the capacity to enthuse pupils and staff alike
A collaborative approach who will work in partnership with all the stakeholders in the school
Evidence of very effective classroom practice - enthusiasm and dedication to help them be an active part of our cheerful staff, and to be a role model to others in their leadership role
High expectations of themselves, colleagues and pupils
A willingness to uphold the Christian ethos of the school (whilst not necessarily being a Christian themselves)
A commitment to helping to enhance an already rich thematic curriculum
The head teacher is ideally looking for a teacher who has experience across KS1 and KS2 along with the relevant maths and computing knowledge, so if you are looking for a subject leader role and are ready for a fresh challenge in a friendly and supportive primary school then please click ‘Apply’ and attach a copy of your CV along with your contact details.
