This is a lovely two form entry Primary School in Tower Hamlets, East London, that have a fantastic reputation in the local area. They are a small Primary School considering they are in a busy Inner London Borough but OFSTED has praised them for multiple reasons, including their Leadership and Pupil Achievement. The staff retention is high here, so, positions are very rare here and the school are keen to find a Primary Intervention Teacher that will blend in and make an impact.
Your role here will be to lead an intervention class of several students who benefit from guided learning in a smaller classroom environment. You will be managing behaviour and teaching at the students pace, but also inline with current lesson plans and schemes of work.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a strong classroom presence and be able to manage challenging behaviour. You will need strong rapport building skills and be able to have an impact in a short space of time. You must be conscientious and have real flair in the classroom.
