The role..

The role of an Primary Intervention Teacher is the following:

* Have a heavy focus on providing reading and language support
* Lesson development tailored to each child’s needs and strategies
* Work in one to one or small groups, depending on the timetable
* Prepare and present strategies for students to other teachers across the school in relation to Intervention.

The Candidate..

The perfect Primary Intervention Teacher will be a UK qualified Primary Teacher with experience working in a challenging and complex teaching role or someone experienced in an Intervention Teacher role. You must have excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum and be able to make an impact. You must be a team player and be able to blend in well with the team of existing Practitioners.
