Servoca Education is currently recruiting specialist intervention teachers for the Autumn Term. Primary schools across North London will soon be looking for KS1 and KS2 intervention teachers to join the supportive and caring teams at Primary schools across the following boroughs.
Primary schools in these locations benefit from a diverse cohort of pupils and provide a rich and multi cultural teaching and learning environment, allowing you to work with pupils who need motivation and specific targeted help with keeping them up to speed with the rest of the class.
Some Head teachers would also require intervention teachers to take small groups of year 5 and 6 pupils focusing on Maths and English with a view to preparing them for SAT’s, therefore some planning might be required.
The role holder will give support in Year 6 to ensure every child continues to reach their potential, and has the opportunity to reach ‘Greater Depth’ by the end of Year 6.
The ideal candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with experience in Upper Key Stage 2, a thorough understanding of the Year 6 curriculum, and the tenacity and drive to ensure all children achieve.
You should demonstrate a desire to achieve the highest outcomes for our pupils, working with our director of education to develop our brand-new knowledge-based curriculum.
You will share our core values of: highest expectations, supportive and caring, love of learning, and happy and confident; and you will have a commitment to professional growth, feedback, and personal development.
