This co educational and inclusive secondary school located in the borough of Enfield has achieved an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ and is looking to build on this current success by adding a strong Geography Teacher or Newly Qualified Geography Teacher.
The school also is close to achieving centre of excellence due to its excellent reputation in terms of leadership, behaviour and academic excellence. The school has a very strong leadership which is very supportive and prioritises staff wellbeing to ensure that the workload isn’t too much for any of the teachers. There are currently three specialist teachers within the Geography team and the students numbers for KS4 has consistently increased greatly due to innovation of the KS3 curriculum and engaging lessons across all year groups.
The ideal Geography Teacher / Teacher of Geography for this role would have strong subject knowledge and build a strong rapport with students through an enthusiastic presence to build positive and strong classroom management.
This is a full time Geography Teacher / Teacher of Geography post to start in September 2017. It is imperative that this Geography Teacher / Teacher of Geography must be able to deliver a consistently ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’ and differentiate lessons across KS3 and KS4. You should have a relevant degree and have obtained QTS following the completion of your teacher training.
