The role..

This position is an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Humanities Teacher to teach Geography and History from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4. You will be part of a forward-thinking and proactive Humanities Department with a strong HOD. The role would suit a teacher who is able to plan and deliver good to outstanding lessons that are both engaging and inclusive. The classes you will be teaching are mixed ability and culturally diverse. There is a small amount of SEN students per class and recent results have shown that the school is achieving above the national average.

As a Humanities Teacher at this school, you are to be a team player with a positive and outgoing personality. Behaviour is good here but you will need to have excellent classroom management.
