Teaching Assistant Key Stage 2 Mile End £325 - £425 per week

**salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications**

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are recent Level 2/3 and/or who have Primary Education experience are also welcomed to apply.

The successful Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant will be able to:

Support children by using a holistic approach.

Support children to develop a love of reading a variety of texts.

Support writing ideas accurately, developing opinions and consolidating these through structured sentences.

Support Mathematics through classroom, using practical everyday scenarios to consolidate.

Excellent behaviour management using positive reinforcement and distraction with the ability to manage the behaviour of ability to follow the school policies and procedures.

You may be required to work in one-one and group situations and must have a good understanding of the National Curriculum and be able to work well with the class teacher and Key Stage 2 Team.

Ability to discuss pupil progress with Teachers and other school staff.

Provide a safe environment where children have the confidence to learn through play effectively.

Requirements To be considered for Teaching Assistant (TA) positions, you must:

Minimum of Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject or recent Primary experience

Have experience supporting children with Key Stage 2 children of all abilities.

SEN experience desirable

Be able to adapt to different routines daily.

Have experience of the English, Mathematics and Science curriculum.

Be flexible and creative when supporting teaching.

Be able to work between the hours of 8:30 until 4:30 Mon-Fri.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
